Week 10: June 8-12
Here are some ideas for this week!   Stay active and have fun!

Monday, June 8
Physical Activity: Bottle Flip & Burpees
-Get a plastic bottle (like a pop/ juice bottle)
-Set a timer for 5 minutes 
-See how many times you can bottle flip
     Bottle flip= 1 point
     Miss= burpee

Mindful Minute: Mountain Breathing
 
Tuesday, June 9
Physical Activity: Rock Paper Scissors
-Play RPS against a family member or the computer
-Play as many rounds as you would like!
     WIN= 5 jumping jacks
     LOSE= 15 jumping jacks

Mindful Minute: Mindful Snack
-Find a snack to eat and think about:
   -what does it feel like?    -what does it smell like?
   -can you squish it?     -what does it taste like? 
   -chew it slowly; think about your mouth moving up & down
  
Wednesday, June 10
Physical Activity: Exercise Dice
-Roll 2 dice or virtual dice 
-Add them together and do the matching exercise 
-Do as many rounds as you would like
EXERCISES:
2= 5 PUSH-UPS    3= 10 JUMPING JACKS
4= 2 BURPEES     5= 10 LUNGES
6= 10 JUMP SQUATS   7= 5 TUCK JUMPS
8= 1MIN. PLANK    9= 1MIN. WALL SIT
10= 5 FROG JUMPS  11= 20 CRUNCHES
12= 10 CRISS CROSS JUMPS

Mindful Minute: Dragon Breathing
-sit straight, breathe in all the way and stick your tongue out
-breathe out like a dragon
Friday, June 12
Physical Activity: Go for a hike!
-Talk to your families about going on a hike
-Ms. V went on a hike to Drumheller last weekend!

Mindful Minute: Shark Fin
-Do the 5 S’s: sit straight, sit still, silent, soft breathing, shut your eyes
-put the side of your hand on your forehead
-slide your hand down your face
-say “shhhhh” as you slide
